Tourist Pictures is the work of Stefan Nadelman, primarily in the field of animation and motion graphics for film, music videos, and commercials. Tourist Pictures is located in scenic Prospect Heights, Brooklyn Portland, Oregon.

Son of a wedding videographer and photographer, Stefan received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Iowa State University in 1994 and began working in New York City as a graphic designer. With the advent of Macromendia's Flash (animation software), he transitioned to web animation for the web and then for film and TV.

In 2000, Stefan's first film, Latin Alive was included on the Best of Resfest DVD volume 1. His next film Terminal Bar won the Jury Prize for short film at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.

Among a variety of personal, collaborative, and commercial work, he has directed and animated shorts with Robert Smigel for Saturday Night Live's TV Funhouse, a music video for Menomena's Evil Bee, Ramona Falls' I Say Fever, and the viral mini-epic short film about war called Food Fight.

2015 was the year of the documentary, with work featured prominently in Brett Morgen's Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck and the Johnny Knoxville produced film about Evel Kneivel: Being Evel. He also premiered his final installment of the Terminal Bar series, Last Call, at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival.

Stefan continues to direct and animate for food, film, and fun.
